Easter Ice-Cream Desert Idea

Easter Sunday might be a thing of the past now, but that doesn't mean that the Easter treats should have to stop, most if not all of the Easter eggs in our shops have been reduced, some of them by more than half price. With this in mind, why not get creative and give your kids something other than another Easter egg.

We nipped out the day after Easter Sunday and bought two big chocolate eggs which had been reduced from £5 each to £2. We also bought some squirty cream and some ice-cream.

Once our kids had eaten their tea, I cut the eggs on half and put some fruit salad in the bottom, next I half filled each egg with Raspberry ripple ice-cream and topped off with mini eggs, grated chocolate (we used the chocolate that came with the Easter eggs), finishing it off with syrup and a wafer.

Of course the ingredients can be what ever you want them to be, the main ones being an Easter egg, some ice-cream and some squirty cream.

Our kids loved it and why wouldn't they? What could be better than a bowl full of ice-cream with everything on it, and you get to eat the bowl as well.

Between you and me, the best bit was not having to wash the bowls afterwards 😆.

Just out of interest, what would you put in your Easter ice-cream bowl?
