Happy New Year.

It's the 1st of November today which means that yesterday was Halloween or as some people would know it Samhain, the beginning of Winter. The end of the old year and the start of a new one. Samhain is a time of remembering, remembering our ancestors and people we know or knew who have passed away. A time were we throw away things which are old or worn out.

Last night was the first time in years I managed to celebrate Samhain. Instead of going out trick or treating we stayed in and played games and ate, later in the evening once our children had gone to bed I nipped outside with an offering of fruit, sweets and some nuts for my ancestors and for the Goddess.

By way of throwing out that which is worn out and old I have linked this blog to my Facebook account, something I had not done in the past. This way what ever I post here on my Pagan blog will be linked on my facebook account, throwing away what was warn out.

On a down side, over the weekend I have been looking for a new Athame and Boline, I managed to find them on Friday night and figured I should wait untill today to phone in my order. As luck would have it the store which is selling my new tools are open 6 days a week, only closing on Monday.. Blast! I will have to wait until tomorrow
