Condoms, a question

Am I the only one who has noticed this? Every time I have walked into a super market or a chemist and have walked passed to isle which houses the shall we say pharmaceuticals, the creams, pain killers, we come to the part were the condoms live... Now, why is it that right next to the condom section you will almost always find Pregnancy test kits. Why? First of all, If I owned a company which made condoms I would take offence if a store put pregnancy test kits next to my product as if to say. Buy the condoms and you might as well get a pregnancy test kit at the same time as they dont work. Would it not be better as a friend of mine pointed out to put the pegnancy test kits next to the alcohol isle? It makes more sence than next to the condoms...

  1. Asda used to put their condoms next to the checkouts.

I remember I saw a packet of "Sure", which were more than half-price. I almost put a packet on the counter, as I originally thought they were chewing gum.
