I have just found the following email from the HSBC bank in my junk folder and wanted to share it.
Dear HSBC client,
Because several failed transaction attempts were detected on your card,
we were forced to terminate access to it.
You are required to confirm that your card was not stolen before we can
restore access to it. You can do this by downloading and completing
the attached form.
Quality service and the security of your account are of great
importance to us.
We appreciate each opportunity to serve you.
